Club CausesMost of the Mother's Clubs are involved in some way with giving back to their communities. The following are just a few examples of some ways your group can contribute back. We would also love to hear about the ways your group has given back, so send us an email at

to tell us about it. Be sure to use subject “Give Back” and include your name and your club name. Food Drives: Support your local Food Pantry with a non perishable food drive. Bake Sales: Children's Hospitals in your area need a touch of home, contact the Children’s Hospital and find out what items they need. Have a bake sale to raise the funds. Clothing Drive: Gather clothing from your neighborhood and donate it to a local shelter or battered women's organization. Winter Coat Drive: Many schools in low income neighborhoods have students without adequate winter coats, hats and gloves. Hold a winter coat drive to collect winter clothing for school-aged children. Contact your school or district's Guidance Office. They are often the most aware of the children in their school that are in the most need. Community Outreach Committee: Any great charitable initiative starts with a great need, and a great plan. Form a Community Outreach Committee within your Mother’s Club to get started. |
